Golweyn Women and Youth Empowerment Initiative (GWYEI) is a transformative community-based organization located in Wajir, Kenya. We are committed to empowering the women and youth of Wajir through education, hands-on skills training, and a wide range of community-focused projects. Our work is centered on creating sustainable pathways to economic independence, fostering resilience in the face of challenges, and encouraging leadership among young people and women.
At GWYEI, we understand that true empowerment comes when individuals are given the tools and resources to lead independent, meaningful lives. By providing education, training, and leadership opportunities, we are cultivating a generation of change-makers, ready to break the cycle of poverty and create social change
